The news that ‘Frosty’ star/co-creator Seth Green has joined the cast of ‘The Foster’ is a great news for fans of the show, especially those who are fans of both the Fostertime and Frozen franchises.
The animated show follows a group of children who live in a fictional, dystopian town that’s been frozen for the last 20 years.
The children have to navigate their way through the everyday challenges of school and home life, and how to cope with their growing-up, as they become adults.
Green will join the cast as Finn, Jake, Elsa and Olaf, who will play the roles of adults.
The show will debut on Netflix on March 12.
Green, who is currently filming a movie called ‘The Long Goodbye,’ is known for his work on ‘Frozen,’ ‘Archer,’ and ‘Fargo.’
He also recently starred in ‘Frequency’ and recently starred on ‘Game of Thrones.’
‘Frosting’ has already been picked up for an animated movie, so it makes sense that the ‘Foster’ alum is also set to appear in the upcoming film.
‘I Love you, Daddy,’ a comedy about two parents, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival last year, and the first trailer shows a bunch of cute little kids in the neighborhood.
The show is set in an alternate world where kids don’t wear their diapers, and are instead born into a family.
In the show’s second season, the characters, Finn and Jake, become adults after years of being raised by their parents.
They will also be joined by their best friend, Elsa, who was born to the Foster family and has her own separate life.
The first season of ‘FoF’ featured a different family each season.
‘Fool’s Gold,’ which premiered in 2014, was set in the 1940s.
Green is a co-writer and producer of ‘Crazy Rich Asians,’ ‘Glee,’ and a new movie called ”Crazy High.”
He also serves as an executive producer on ‘The Good Place,’ the NBC comedy series that starred his brother Adam Green.
